Duties as a Classic Car Restoration Technician

  • Conduct engine builds and restorations on classic vehicles dating from the 1950s to 2015 as a Classic Car Restoration Technician
  • Fabricate, design, and assemble engine components with precision
  • Manage multiple mechanical restoration projects simultaneously, ensuring high standards of workmanship
  • Assist with media blasting, painting, and bodywork repairs in-house
  • Mentor apprentices and less experienced team members
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of heritage vehicle specifications and standards
  • Work collaboratively within a team of highly skilled technicians and specialists in historic cars

Requirements

  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, engine building, or machining, with manual lathe and mill skills
  • Past experience working within a classic or vintage car restoration environment is highly desirable
  • Genuine passion for classic vehicles with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with keen attention to detail
