Duties as a Classic Car Restoration Technician
- Conduct engine builds and restorations on classic vehicles dating from the 1950s to 2015 as a Classic Car Restoration Technician
- Fabricate, design, and assemble engine components with precision
- Manage multiple mechanical restoration projects simultaneously, ensuring high standards of workmanship
- Assist with media blasting, painting, and bodywork repairs in-house
- Mentor apprentices and less experienced team members
- Maintain a thorough understanding of heritage vehicle specifications and standards
- Work collaboratively within a team of highly skilled technicians and specialists in historic cars
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, engine building, or machining, with manual lathe and mill skills
- Past experience working within a classic or vintage car restoration environment is highly desirable
- Genuine passion for classic vehicles with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with keen attention to detail
