You always have the right tool for the job. The Maintenance Assistant takes responsibility for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities, and the management of the maintenance team. The role ensures that jobs are completed efficiently to meet guest expectations during their stay. Responsibilities include completing the daily job list, following preventative maintenance schedules, meeting time deadlines, liaising with contractors, and taking responsibility for health and safety. The ideal candidate is organised, an excellent communicator, highly detail‑oriented, and has experience working in the maintenance department of a hotel of similar quality. Knowledge of electrics and health and safety is beneficial.
