Rainhill High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Prepare students for practical assessments and coursework
• Maintain a safe and organised kitchen/classroom environment in line with health and safety standards
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
