Connect Appointments is recruiting a Welder to join a global manufacturing business based in Livingston.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm – with an early Friday finish
• £14 to £15.50 per hour – dependent on experience
• Immediate starts available

As a Welder, your duties will include:

• Reading and working from detailed CAD/CAM engineering drawings
• TIG and MIG welding across a variety of projects
• Working on general sheet metal work and light fabrications
• Using hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and fit components
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times

The ideal Welder will have:

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator
• Proven TIG and MIG welding skills in a manufacturing environment
• The ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail
