SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Location: Maghull, Sefton

Pay: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

Hours: Flexible / Ongoing Work | ASAP Start

People Dynamix Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a welcoming SEN primary school near Maghull, Sefton. We are looking for passionate and adaptable individuals who can provide support to children with a range of additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking either casual flexible work or those interested in long-term temp-to-perm opportunities within a supportive school environment.

The Role

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or within the classroom
• Assist children with learning, communication, and emotional regulation
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress
• Help create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people (school, care, or support settings)
• A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A reliable and professional attitude
