Calypso is a large-scale, front-to-back trading platform supporting trading, risk management and post-trade processing across asset classes, built on a robust Java-based architecture. This is an opportunity to work on complex greenfield implementations, upgrades and transformation initiatives, collaborating with global teams across EMEA, North America and APAC.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and deliver Calypso solutions across the full trade lifecycle within large-scale implementation and transformation programmesCollaborate closely with Front Office, Risk, Operations and Technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsSupport greenfield implementations, version upgrades and transformation initiatives across global capital markets environmentsIntegrate Calypso with external systems through APIs, messaging and batch processingContribute to the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design through to deployment and post-go-live supportDevelop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality deliverablesPartner with development and testing teams across EMEA, North America and APAC to deliver within complex, fast-paced programmesProvide technical expertise on the Calypso object model and architecture to guide design decisionsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across trading, risk and post-trade processesRequirementsProven experience as a Calypso Developer on implementation, upgrade or transformation programmesHands-on expertise in Calypso (v16+ preferred) along with strong understanding of the Calypso object model and architectureSolid Java development skills including Spring and HibernateBackground in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) with excellent object-oriented analysis and design skillsUnderstanding of the trade lifecycle covering front office, risk and back-office processesKnowledge of one or more asset classes such as Rates, FX, Credit, Equities or CommoditiesSkills in integrating Calypso with external systems via APIs, messaging and batch processingProficiency in SQL and relational databasesCompetency in writing unit and integration testsStrong problem-solving ability in fast-paced delivery environmentsCapability to collaborate effectively with development and testing teamsWe offerPrivate Healthcare PackagePensionEmployee Assistance ProgrammeEnhanced Maternity policyGroup Life Protection BenefitGive as You EarnCycle to Work SchemeEmployee Referral Bonus SchemeDiversity NetworksAccess to a range of skills and certifications#J-18808-Ljbffr…
