Tibshelf Community School is a thriving, oversubscribed 11-16 school with 838 students, located near Chesterfield on the edge of the Peak District, with excellent transport links via the M1.

We’re seeking a reliable Minibus Driver to support student transport for extra‑curricular activities. This is an ad hoc role with weekly scheduling, and some trips may occur outside normal school hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students and equipment, following all traffic laws.
• Complete pre- and post‑drive vehicle checks.
• Report any issues or incidents to the Admin Manager.
• Log mileage and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Wear appropriate, professional attire.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

You’ll work alongside a second staff member during student transport. Flexibility is essential.

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence with category D1 entitlement.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding and driving proficiency training.
