Dulux Decorator Centre – Wellington, TA21 9AD
Pay: £13.18 per hour & sales‑based bonus

Sales Assistant/Driver
Part‑time role (20 hours per week) – available to work shifts between 7 am and 5 pm Monday‑Friday, and 8 am to 12 pm on some Saturdays.
Job Purpose
You will play a key role in the success of your store by collaborating with in‑store colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals and DIY enthusiasts. You will help maximize sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories in your store, and carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses.
Job Responsibilities
- Play an active part in engagement planning and monthly store meeting sessions.
- Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, an informed conversation and personalized proposal.
- Use our client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Support your store’s monthly customer contact plan.
- Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor.
- Load the van and plan delivery routes.
- Develop your skills and encourage colleagues to do so using our training tools.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service or retail role.
- Valid driving licence.
- Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
- Calm under pressure.
