Healthcare Support Worker (Bank)

Overview

Healthcare Support Worker – North Staffordshire Hospital. Part‑time, bank position, including weekend work. Pay £12.84 per hour. Work on an ad‑hoc basis, not contracted to a set number of hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Put patient care first.
• Carry out administrative duties.
• Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in the delivery of exceptional patient care, pre and post surgery.
• Enjoy time to get to know the people who are our patients.
• Meet the needs of every individual.
• Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact and experience.
• Help patients feel good and comfortable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Good telephone manner, and strong computer and database skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions.
