Social Worker – Children’s Services

Contract Type: Full‑Time Locum

Pay Rate: £23.66 per hour (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload within Children’s Services
• Completing assessments, care plans and statutory visits
• Working closely with children, families, carers and partner agencies
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Preparing reports and maintaining accurate case recordings
• Participating in multi‑agency meetings and reviews

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
• Experience within Children’s Services
• Strong safeguarding and assessment experience
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multi‑agency environment
