Position

Join our Service team and play a hands‑on role in the operation and maintenance of Battery Energy Storage Systems in a fast‑growing, international energy environment.

Tasks And Duties

  • Be the on‑site reference for O&M activities on the Coylton BESS
  • Support the UK Service Manager across assigned O&M projects
  • Work closely with the Performance Monitoring team on daily monitoring, issue tracking, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, in coordination with Service leadership
  • Support commissioning activities, collaborating with Project, Engineering, and Commissioning teams
  • Provide field feedback to improve service proposals, pricing tools, and standard documentation
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction and long‑term relationships
  • Share operational insights with Service, Engineering, and R&D teams to enhance:
  • Data collection, reporting, and dashboard tools
  • Product and system improvements
  • Actively support the continuous improvement of Service processes
  • Assist with spare parts and service procurement using internal tools
  • Work in full compliance with HSE and site standards, ensuring:
  • Safe work practices and correct PPE usage
  • Risk assessments and timely incident reporting
  • Participation in HSE trainings, audits, and inspections
  • Proper equipment handling and waste disposal

Requirements

  • Technical high‑school diploma (electrical, mechanical, electronic, or similar)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an electrical tester or maintenance technician
  • Hands‑on experience or basic knowledge of PLC testing, programming, or coding
  • Strong sense of responsibility regarding health, safety, and site procedures
  • Native‑level English proficiency (mandatory)

Nice To Have

  • Experience in commissioning or maintenance of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • Experience in solar or wind power plants
  • Familiarity with industrial or energy sector environments
  • Ability to work effectively in international and multidisciplinary teams
