Working hours: Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30. Friday, 08:00 – 13:30

Do you have experience building or assembling machinery, mechanical equipment or bespoke units? Are you looking for an exciting new role within a leading bespoke machinery company offering overtime at an increased rate along with an early Friday finish, first‑class training and development?
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a mechanical fitter to join the team at their state‑of‑the‑art facility in Taunton. The successful applicant will work on exciting, bespoke, special‑purpose machinery for customers worldwide, liaising closely with design, projects, and manufacturing teams. You will join a growing engineering team and develop your electrical skills while gaining progression paths as the team expands.
The Role
- Build and assemble a variety of bespoke machinery and automation systems
- Work from engineering drawings and schematics
- Mechanical fitting and training on electrical work
The Candidate
- Experience building or assembling machinery, conveyors, or automation equipment
- Strong mechanical fitting and assembly skills
- Commute distance to Taunton
