Swim Instructor (Bank)

Edinburgh Fountain FWC | Pool | Ad hoc | Part time

Up to £18 per hour, depending on skills and experience

As Britain’s largest Healthcare Charity, Nuffield Health is passionate about helping people stay fit and healthy. We are looking for a confident, approachable instructor with excellent communication skills to provide safe, effective swimming lessons.

Responsibilities

• Engage and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve their swimming goals
• Deliver one‑to‑one lessons or group classes
• Promote memberships by explaining the benefits of our facilities
• Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach
• Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and promote safe learning environments
• Meet performance targets and collaborate with colleagues to improve lesson quality

Qualifications

• ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification
• Good people skills and a love of swimming
• Experience with swimmers of varied ages and abilities is an advantage
