Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of property managers.
  • Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance (including conducting one-to-one meetings).
  • Ensuring the business is risk‑averse and follows the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies.
  • Conducting property inspections.
  • Negotiating tenancy extensions and/or renewals.
  • Co‑ordinating with contractors to manage maintenance and/or repair issues at properties.
  • Handling deposit returns.
  • Resolving rental arrears.
  • Processing eviction requests.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Completing all check‑in and check‑out procedures, including full inventory reports.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Property Manager within residential lettings.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a positive team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.
  • Track record of developing team members to advance their careers.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with all clients.
  • Strong knowledge of current residential lettings legislation.

  • £28,500 to £39,000 basic salary, dependent on experience.
  • Additional £3,744 in uncapped commission targets across the year.

Driving Requirements

  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Vehicle must be less than 5 years old to be eligible for a car allowance.
  • Full business‑use car insurance cover if using your own vehicle.

  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006).
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK, e.g. passport or birth certificate.
  • Proof of address, National Insurance number, and Drivers Licence check.
