Nelson Recruitment Services is actively recruiting Welders for our client based in the Walsall area. Immediate start Monday.
Working Hours & Pay
Mon – Fri 7.30am – 4.30pm. Pay rate ranging from £15.00 per hour / weekly pay.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment to perform welding processes.
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to specifications.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal components.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proficient in welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience working with sheet metal and various types of metals.
- Competency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Basic maths skills for measuring, cutting, and fabricating materials accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Working Types
Production welding work available. Standard welding work available.
