Due to continued success, we are currently on the lookout for an Internal Preparation Centre Technician to join our Snows Vauxhall dealership in Basingstoke.

Your day

As an Internal Preparation Centre Technician, you will ensure all new and used vehicles are prepared within the agreed 3-day timescale and to the guidelines set by the manufacturers.

Your day will include

  • Ensure all new and used vehicles are prepared within the agreed 3-day timescale.
  • Ensure the preparation guidelines set by the manufacturer are adhered to.
  • Ensure the correct documentation is completed fully on all internal work.
  • Ensure an EVHC is completed on all used vehicles and, when appropriate, add a Cit-now video for clarity.
  • Ensure all Vehicle Campaigns and Delivery Stops have been completed in accordance with the Brand requirements.
  • Ensure all cars are valeted and the relevant paint protection aids have been applied.
  • Ensure all purchased cars arriving on site are received and damage checked in accordance with guidelines.
  • Ensure all stored cars are secure and the keys are kept safely secured within a locked key cabinet.
  • Ensure vehicle movement and correct storage is maintained to optimise efficiency and operational performance.
  • Ensure that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any hazardous working practice which may be detrimental to either themselves or others.
  • Ensure protective clothing and equipment supplied by the company are worn or used as and when appropriate.
  • Guarantee handling of waste products and hazardous materials is carried out as per company policies and COSHH regulations.
  • The Preparation Centre Technician may also be asked from time to time to carry out other tasks not outlined above.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (with 1 hour for lunch)
