Cook, Mayfield Garden Centre

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Cook to join the team in our Coffee Shop in Mayfield Garden Centre.

Our competitive rate of pay for the role is £13.01 per hour.

The hours for the role are 36 per week over 4 days. All positions include weekends working so flexibility is a must.

Role

As a Cook, you will be responsible for producing a range of meals and snacks from our menu. You will work as part of a small team under the guidance of the Coffee Shop Manager and be passionate about freshly prepared food served with the highest levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients
• Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
• Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
• Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day

Qualifications

• Passion for good quality fresh produce and food
• Understanding of food hygiene requirements
• Good food presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills.
