Typical Day

You’ll be prepping and running service in our busy café kitchen. The menu is focused and unfussy – our food is honest, hearty, and made with quality local produce.

• Work a high‑volume breakfast and lunch service, cooking everything fresh to order
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and moving at pace
• Plate food to Brambles brand standards – simple, generous, and genuinely appealing
• Work alongside a small, tight‑knit team who care about what they produce
• Help with prep at the start and end of service

Qualifications

• Love making simple food taste genuinely great – seasoning, timing, and care matter to you
• Move quickly, stay calm under pressure, and can prioritise without being told
• Read a ticket and execute, without needing things explained twice
• Care how food looks when it leaves the pass – even when it’s busy
• Take pride in consistency, not just creativity
• Have worked in a fast, high‑volume kitchen before and actually enjoyed it
• Not suitable if you’re looking for a creative fine dining environment, want to redesign menus weekly, or prefer a quieter, more considered kitchen pace
