Air Conditioning / Chiller Engineer
Permanent, full-time position based in Swindon.
Our client is looking for an experienced professional in fault finding and servicing of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment. You will perform installations alone and with other engineers within a 50‑mile radius of the base, and may be required to travel further for certain jobs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on single split systems
- Work on multi split systems
- Work on heat recovery systems
- Work on VRF systems and commercial refrigeration systems
Qualifications & Knowledge
An NVQ2 in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning is required. Knowledge of water chillers, air source heat pumps & ventilation would also be handy.
People Specification
The ideal candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills, be enthusiastic, work well with people, be an excellent communicator, show initiative and be able to take direction well.
Working Hours
General working hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. You will be on call one evening per week and one weekend in four, with standby allowance and extra pay for overtime and callouts.
