Overview
Temporary Female Support Worker at Dane House in Brighton (Learning Disability & Autism division of Elysium Healthcare). Provide care and support to six adults with severe learning disabilities, autism and, where appropriate, challenging behaviours.

52a Dyke Rd Avenue, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 5LE.
Responsibilities
Join a supportive, multidisciplinary team to help residents lead a valued life. Provide personal care, support personal hygiene, use excellent communication to understand behaviours, and manage challenging behaviours. Work full‑time 37.5 hours per week, shifts 7am‑10pm, weekends on rota basis. Preferably hold a UK driving licence to support community visits.

- Have excellent people and communication skills, and a good sense of humour
- Deal with challenging behaviours

- Be local or within commutable distance
Qualifications & Requirements
No specific qualifications required, but experience caring for people with learning disabilities is preferred. You must live in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK full time. 20‑hour Student and Skilled Worker visas are not accepted.
Valid UK driving licence is preferred.

Annual base salary of £25,057.50.

Dane House is a six‑bed mixed‑gender community home providing care to adults with severe learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours. Facilities include lounges, dining room, kitchen, sensory areas and a large garden. Residents may have profound communication difficulties, sensory impairments, and physical health problems.
