What You’ll Be Doing as a Stores Operative
- Supporting the efficient running of Production Stores and WIP (Work In Progress) Stores
- Picking, moving, and issuing materials to support production requirements
- Ensuring stock is stored accurately and safely
- Maintaining goodstock control and inventory accuracy
- Working closely with colleagues to support On Time In Full (OTIF) production requirements
- Maintaining high housekeeping and 5S standards within the stores areas
- Assisting with general stores duties and supporting the wider team where required
What We’re Looking for as a Stores Operative
Essential
- A hardworking and reliable approach to work
- Ability to adapt and work across multiple stores areas
- Comfortable working within a small, close-knit team
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support production operations
Desirable
- Forklift licence (training may be provided for the right candidate and may be subject to a training agreement)
- Previous stores, warehouse, or materials handling experience
