We’re looking for skilled HGV Technicians and Hybrid HGV Technicians to join our busy and growing team at our Tamworth site. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest safety and performance standards. For Hybrid HGV Technicians, you’ll also play a key part in maintaining and troubleshooting hybrid systems as the industry continues to evolve.

Salary
- Rotating shifts, A) 06.00 am to 03.30 pm, B) 09.00 am to 06.30 pm, i.e. 45 hours per week, 30‑minute lunch (unpaid)
- Saturday’s to be worked on a rotational basis, this is every other weekend when on lates.
Hours
OTE £50,000 per annum
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on HGVs.
- Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and replace vehicle components as required.
- Complete all work in line with manufacturer and DVSA standards.
- Accurately complete job cards and service records.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- DAF aid call out (Hybrid)
Ideal Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Relevant qualifications in heavy vehicle maintenance, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced workshop environment.
- A positive attitude and strong team ethic.
