Assembly Operative (Electrical Assembly)
Location: Clevedon, North Somerset
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour to £18.33 per hour for overtime after 37.5 hours worked. Overtime may be available on Saturdays and Sundays at enhanced rates over £27.50 per hour.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Start Date: ASAP, temp ongoing
Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays (accrued)

Pertemps is recruiting production operatives to join a well‑established manufacturing company in Clevedon that produces specialist vacuum and exhaust management systems for the semiconductor industry.
This opportunity would suit candidates from a wireman background, especially those with hands‑on experience in control panel wiring and crimping.
Key Duties
- Electrical and mechanical assembly work
- Preparing and assembling wiring looms
- Crimping and soldering components
- Working from basic drawings and instructions
- Assisting with general production tasks
- Supporting the wiring and assembly team where required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous production or manufacturing experience
- Experience with wiring, crimping or soldering
- Ability to follow drawings or build instructions
- Good attention to detail
- A reliable and positive approach to work
Additional Information
£13.75 per hour (+£26,812 per annum basic)
£18.33 per hour overtime after 37.5 hours worked
A choice of either Weekly or Monthly pay.
Due to the location, candidates should live locally to Clevedon or have their own transport.
