English Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Full‑Time Position

Location: Nottingham

Start Date: September 2026

Daily Rate: (amount), depending on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Nottingham, starting in September 2026. This full‑time role is contracted until at least December 2026. The successful English Teacher will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Part‑time applicants will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality lessons as an English Teacher for KS3 and KS4.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including participation in extracurricular activities and house competitions.
  • Uphold the school’s ethos of respect, collaboration, and excellence.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working as an English Teacher at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
