About the School
We are a warm, inclusive, and well‑resourced SEN through school in Lewisham that supports students with a range of additional needs from primary years through to Post‑16 pathways. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for small groups.
- Support learners with diverse needs including ASD, MLD, SEMH, and complex needs.
- Work closely with therapists, support staff, and parents/carers.
- Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
- Contribute to EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
- Be part of a collaborative, caring staff team.
Qualifications and Experience
- QTS is preferred; highly experienced unqualified SEN teachers will also be considered.
- Strong experience teaching Secondary or Post‑16 learners.
- A calm, resilient, and student‑centred approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for helping young people with SEN thrive.
- Ability to commit long‑term, with routes to permanent employment.
