About the role
The bar team and service is one of the key facilities in the communal areas, providing a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The bar service complements other hospitality functions including a coffee shop available to residents, staff, and the general public.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide a welcoming bar service with a range of activities for all
- Serve customers at the bar in line with licensing regulations
- Help with organised activities and events
- Ensure the bar is correctly stocked, clean and safe for all users
About you
Desired skills and experience:
- Excellent customer-focused bar service delivery
- Operate the licensed bar when on shift
- Good level of numeracy and experience of cash handling and reconciliation
- Understanding of health and safety
- Effective communication with a wide range of people, adapting approaches as needed
- Ability to work as a team and flexible working pattern to support team needs
