Overview
We provide luxurious retirement living with personalized care that promotes independence and honours choice. As a waiter/waitress, you will ensure residents receive dignified, personalized attention during mealtimes, supporting social interaction and overall wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Set up tables in the restaurant and café.
- Serve meals in the restaurant and café during mealtimes.
- Prepare trays and provide room service to village residents who wish to stay in their rooms for meals.
- Serve drinks at the bar as required (applicants over 18).
- Ensure the restaurant and café are tidy and meet all high standards.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times.
- Support other areas as required, such as serving meals to or removing trays from resident’s rooms, restocking resident’s personal kitchens or delivering refreshments to other locations in the village.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who cares deeply for others and is driven to make a significant impact on people’s lives. Required skills include excellent communication, strong teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, orderly, safe and sanitary environment. Prior experience in customer service, catering or kitchen roles is a plus but not essential – training will be provided.
