About the Role
Vocational Recruitment is working in partnership with a vibrant primary school in East London to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Upper KS1/Lower KS2 Primary Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2026.
This is a long-term position as a Primary Teacher with the strong possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate. You will take full class responsibility, including planning, marking, and assessment, supported by an experienced parallel teacher and phase leader.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1/KS2 national curriculum
- Take full responsibility for a class, including assessment, marking and reporting
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Work collaboratively with the parallel class teacher and wider school team
- Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1/KS2 (Year 2-4 experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A proactive and positive approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
