Senior Support Worker – Oakley House
Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire, PE19 8BP. Working Hours: 34.5 hours a week.
We are looking for a Support Worker with an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the enthusiasm and commitment to live our values. This may be the role for you!
Oakley House is a warm and welcoming residential service that supports up to eight adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Health needs. Our focus is on promoting independence in a nurturing and supportive environment, helping each individual work towards their personal goals and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a team of Support Workers
- Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Liaise with health professionals and their families
- Complete supervisions and audits
- Ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
Qualifications & Experience
NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Experience with adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities or Mental Health needs is preferred.
