An exciting new vacancy has arisen within the Elland facility for a Senior Design Engineer
Trillium Flow Technologies is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Elland. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the design and development of high-performance control and isolation valves that meet demanding customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret technical specifications to design valves that meet contractual and service requirements.
- Perform material selection and engineering calculations to size valve components.
- Generate Bills of Materials, general arrangement drawings, and detailed part definitions.
- Review and check the work of other team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, assembly, inspection, and testing.
- Support manufacturing and testing processes.
- Prepare design reports and support sales with technical input for tenders.
- Contribute to new product development and adopt emerging technologies.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Ideally 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of valve design standards (API, ASME; ASME III desirable).
- Understanding of PED requirements.
- Proficiency in Solid Edge and Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
