About the role:

This welcoming SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. Starting ASAP, this role offers the chance to support pupils in a positive and structured environment focused on individual progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
• Adapt classroom resources to meet individual learning requirements
• Encourage independence and confidence in students
• Assist with personal care where required
• Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement support plans

Pre-requisites:

• Experience supporting SEN in a school or care setting
• Understanding of different SEN needs and strategies
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Calm and resilient approach to challenging situations
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
