We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, be organised, and have a genuine desire to help others. We are looking for a Care Assistant to provide support in the main areas we work in. Billingshurst, Wisborough Green, Loxwood, Ifold, Plaistow, Pulborough, Ashington and Storrington.
PAY
£14.00 Weekdays, £14.50 Weekends + £1.70 per visit / 45p per Mile

Schedule
- Week 1 – Monday to Friday 8am – 2pm
- Week 2 – Tuesday to Saturday 7am – 2pm & 4pm – 9pm
- Bank Hours available
Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Assist with medication
- Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring their needs and preferences are met effectively
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
- Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times, following health and safety guidelines
- Assist with light domestic tasks within the care environment, including cleaning and organising personal spaces
Requirements
- 1 year minimum experience
- Full UK driving licence and your own car
- Kind and caring nature
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care plans
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues
- Must be able to commit to the above schedule
