We are looking for fun, energetic and enthusiastic candidates to work with students aged 11-16 in a PRU. This is a great opportunity for candidates to develop their skills and be supported by a setting that believes in securing professional development for staff. This role would suit someone with a strong knowledge of Maths, who is energetic and has an enthusiastic personality. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the children you will be working with.
- Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
- Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum.
- Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
- Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
- Be passionate about supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Provide support advice and guidance.
- Promote independence in line with the settings policy.
Requirements
- Energetic and bubbly personality.
- Knowledge of SEND and the impact it may have on students.
- Desire to make a difference to the lives of young people.
