We are hiring Full‑Time Sales Assistants to join one of our exciting stores based in Portsmouth.
As a full‑time role, you will work 37.5 hours per week, requiring flexibility from Monday to Sunday.

Role
As a Sales Assistant you are the heartbeat of our business. You will be passionate about showcasing our diverse products and go above and beyond for customers. Your main objective is to provide the best shopping experience, helping guests feel welcomed and valued.
Defy ordinary by asking insightful questions, understanding each customer’s needs, and presenting products with style. You will create a first‑class shopping experience through exceptional service, attitude and behaviours.
From day one you will receive in‑depth training on product specifications, fabric, weather durability, product care and matching companions, becoming a well‑rounded Footasylum Sales Ambassador.
About you
No prior experience is required; we look for outgoing, friendly, organised, can‑do attitude. You should be positive, approachable and confident in greeting customers and sparking engaging conversations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Make customers feel like VIPs by providing excellent service, ensuring they leave with a great impression of our shop.
- Become a product expert, helping customers choose the best options for their needs and preferences.
- Provide expert product knowledge and advice.
- Work with colleagues to hit store targets, keeping the shop floor fun and delivering exceptional service as a team.
- Maintain a clean, inviting, organised and visually appealing store environment.
- Engage enthusiastically in training sessions, learning to grow personally and professionally.
- Stay up to date with current trends and product knowledge to better assist customers.
- Handle transactions with a smile, ensuring each purchase ends the shopping experience on a high note.
As a Sales Assistant on the shop floor you are the go‑to for customer questions, resolving issues and ensuring genuine care for all guests.
