Warehouse Operative – Altrincham
We are excited to partner with a successful and growing company in Altrincham to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative. If you have at least two years of warehouse experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team that values dedication, reliability, and long‑term progression. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the smooth operation of a busy warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Unloading containers and managing deliveries
- Replenishing stock and maintaining cleanliness
- Participating in stock takes and inventory control
- Palletising goods for dispatch
- Ensuring a safe working environment
- Collaborating with team members to meet deadlines
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse or similar setting
- Experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Stores Operative, Picker/Packer, or Goods In Operative within the Apparel/clothing/textiles industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a strong team ethic
- FLT experience is advantageous but not essential
- Willingness to undergo training for FLT license
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work well under pressure
Location: Altrincham
Salary: £26,000 + Bonus + Overtime
Hours: June–August: Mon–Fri, 7:50am–4:30pm, Sept–May: Mon–Fri, 7:50am–5:00pm
Breaks: Paid morning and afternoon breaks, unpaid lunch
