Senior Pensions Data Technician — Remote Role — Permanent | Full-Time

About the Role
A tier 1 Professional services client is looking for a Senior Pensions Data Technician to join a growing Scheme Events team, where you’ll lead on complex data projects, support cyclical activities, and ensure scheme events are delivered to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of assigned projects and scheme events.
- Collaborate with Scheme Events Leads and Managers to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Review and support the work of Pensions Data Technicians.
- Build relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Continuously improve systems, processes, and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality frameworks.
- Perform bulk data analysis, calculations, and reporting using Excel and internal systems.
- Create audit trails and test communications and calculations.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
- Technical pensions calculations and bulk data analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel: filters, pivot tables, lookups, IF/nested IF statements, date calculations, data validation, and importing files.
- Experience with pension administration systems.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- A-level Maths or equivalent experience in complex data analysis.
