Staffordshire County Council is looking for motivated individuals to support adults with learning disabilities at Horninglow Bungalows, a Supported Living facility in Burton on Trent.
Main Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Maintain dignity and provide intimate/personal care.
- Follow dietary care plans and support individuals with eating and drinking.
- Assist with manual handling of people.
- Support with positive behavioural support and safety intervention.
- Encourage tenants to be actively involved in their care.
- Administer medication.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can cover waking night shifts at Horninglow Bungalows Supported Living, working under the guidance of a Senior Night Support Facilitator and attending to the needs of tenants who are all adults with learning disabilities.
This post requires an enhanced DBS check and a pre‑employment health assessment.
Interviews will begin 1st June 2026.
Due to recent changes in legislation (effective 22 July 2025), this role is not eligible for sponsorship.
This role is regulated by CQC and a full employment history from leaving secondary school is required.
