Support Worker (Dementia) – Bank Shifts

Location: Middleton Park Lodge Nursing Home, Acre Close, Middleton, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS10 4HX.

Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (minimum 6 months experience in a Dementia setting)
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum 6 months experience

Rates of Pay

• NVQ Level 2: £14.02 per hour
• NVQ Level 3: £14.85 per hour

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Support people to participate in appropriate leisure activities and daily living activities, normalising life with joy and happiness.
• Provide personal care with empathy and sensitivity.
• Receive tailored dementia training to enhance skills and support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
