Benefit Workers – Supported Living Service (Roundhay, Leeds)
Role Summary: Provide relief cover for female support workers in a supported living service. Typical shifts include 7 am to 11 pm with sleep‑in coverage. A full UK driving licence is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care, support and assistance to service users in a community setting.
- Assist with personal hygiene, medication administration and meal preparation.
- Support participants with activities of daily living and promote independence.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in users’ conditions.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment at all times.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Patience, empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, honesty and determination.
- A problem‑solver with resilience.
- Experience or training in autism, learning disabilities or mental health support is desirable.
