The Role
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and proactive Day Centre Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will support service users in a variety of activities, both within the centre and in the community, helping them to build confidence, engage socially, and maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality care and support tailored to individual needs
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and mealtime support as required
- Plan and participate in meaningful activities such as arts & crafts, music, outings, and life skills sessions
- Promote dignity, choice, and independence at all times
- Maintain accurate records and work closely with families and professionals
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all
What We’re Looking For
- 6 months previous experience in a healthcare setting in the UK
- A caring and patient attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and willingness to engage in a wide range of activities
- Willingness to complete Enhanced Access NI
- NISCC registered or willingness to register
