About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker to work under a zero‑hour, bank contract at The Woodmill in Cullompton. After a paid two‑week induction, you can book shifts via the app – weekdays, nights and weekends are available. You may also be offered future bank shifts at other Elysium services in the region.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to people with mental health conditions.
- Help patients lead a valued and fulfilled life.
- Maintain an understanding of each patient’s welfare and promote their safety.
- Use your experience to assist patients in improving day‑to‑day functioning.
- Participate in mandatory training and work in a 24/7 service operating 12.5‑hour standard shifts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working in a mental health setting.
- Positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance.
- Ability to work flexible hours and choose shifts via the app.
- Reliable and honest with a strong desire to help people.
