Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team as part of our well‑established bank. The role involves providing nursing care as delegated by the Senior Nurse and implementing evidence‑based care in settings such as inpatient rehabilitation wards or patients’ residences. This is ideal for second‑ or third‑year nursing students or individuals with previous care experience looking for flexible working.

Main Responsibilities

  • Enabling and supporting personal care
  • Assisting with activities of daily living
  • Monitoring observations and wellbeing
  • Joint visits with qualified professionals to support delivery of care as per individual care plans
  • Providing and delivering holistic care and escalating any concerns to senior leads
  • Ensuring to maintain patient confidentiality and dignity at all times

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a care certificate or an equivalent health and social care qualification and evidence of relevant health‑care experience.

They will be required to travel across all areas covered by our North Kent services, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

They should also be confident using IT systems and be able to work independently with technology.
