Casual Leisure Assistant – Holiday pay, uniform, free use of equipment for personal development, training opportunities.

Minimum age: 16 years old. This position is for unqualified personnel. If you have a National Governing Body Instructing Certificate in any of our activities, please apply via the Casual Instructor option.

This outdoor summer role is set against the backdrop of Dinton Pastures and California Country Park. The role supports the smooth running of the outdoor paddling pool, pay‑and‑play boat hire facility, and activity programme. Responsibilities include supporting the delivery of family events, assisting with the operation of boat hire on the lake side at Dinton, running the paddling pool at California, and checking car parks and play areas to ensure high standards of customer care and health and safety.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training to progress towards becoming a fully qualified and experienced outdoor sports instructor. Confidence working around water, with the public, and in an outdoor environment is essential.

Progression opportunities include assisting in land activity sessions under supervision of instructional staff and eventually running sessions for a variety of clients. On‑site training will be provided. Ability to travel between the various sites is essential.
