About the role
Active Care in the Home are expanding our client base and have a brand new 17‑year‑old male client in Market Harborough. The client has an acquired brain injury since birth, resulting in complex needs including epilepsy and regular seizures, PEG tube, non‑verbal communication, visual impairment and mobility support. He lives in a bungalow on his family home grounds.
Previous care experience is essential and previous experience with epilepsy is desirable. You must hold a full UK driver’s licence to be able to drive his vehicle.
When you will be working
- Full time 36‑40 hours a week
- Mix of evening (4 pm‑8 pm), sleeping nights (8 pm‑8 am) and weekend day (8 am‑8 pm) shifts
- Flexibility to work days & sleep nights required
In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero‑hours contract as care packages can change.
