Bank Community Support Team Assistant – Domestic

Domestic Assistants support the Trust in delivering a clean and safe environment for both service users and staff. The role requires flexible candidates able to cover for annual leave or sickness across multiple sites in Cheshire West & Chester. The Trust supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate; a pay supplement applies if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
Main Duties
- Provide general domestic support within the Trust’s facilities.
- Work as part of a team and be flexible in working approach, covering for annual leave and sickness.
- Receive full training and wear a uniform.

Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across facilities.
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues.
- Support staff and service users while ensuring a safe environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- General education, or hold or be willing to undertake an accredited Level 2 award in cleaning.
- NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning or equivalent.
- Food Safety qualification.
- Good understanding of cleaning services.
- Previous experience in domestic services and/or catering.
- Previous experience in dealing with the public.
Knowledge and Expertise
- Ability to accept and prioritise instructions.
- Previous NHS cleaning knowledge would be desirable.
