About the role
Prime Life is looking for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Support Worker, on a bank basis. The role will be based at Middlefield House in Gainsborough, a home designed to cater to the needs of 18 residents living with a range of physical disabilities and mental health conditions. Candidates should be patient, understanding and respectful of each resident’s individual abilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide respectful and dignified support to residents.
- Encourage residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them.
- Provide companionship while giving emotional and practical support.
- Assist residents to participate in decisions relating to their daily living arrangements.
- Help residents with day‑to‑day activities such as personal care, recreational activities and accompanying residents outside of the home.
- Promote resident independence in the preparation of food and/or at mealtimes.
- Work with other professionals to provide individualized care and development plans.
Requirements
To be successful, you should have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. Prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable but not essential as full training is provided. You should be patient, understanding and respectful of each resident’s individual abilities.
