Job Overview

Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications & Vetting

Preferable you hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates. Training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances.

A full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide this may lead to withdrawal of offer or termination of employment.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
• Liaise with the store management teams
• Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships to support the reduction of crime in store
• Wear body‑worn CCTV to increase colleague and customer safety
