Location: Basildon, EssexSalary: £26,000 – £27,300 per annumHours: Full-time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

About the Role

Noble Recruiting are supporting a long-standing client in Basildon who is looking for an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join their production team.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining multi-head embroidery machinery to produce high-quality garments, supporting production targets, and ensuring standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a six-head Happy Japan embroidery machine (experience with Tajima, Barudan, or SWF also beneficial)
• Set up, frame and load garments and fabrics for embroidery
• Interpret and work from embroidery design files (DST, EMB etc.)
• Carry out thread changes, tension adjustments, and daily maintenance
• Inspect finished garments to ensure quality standards are met
• Support the wider production team when required

Requirements

• Previous embroidery machine experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Knowledge of different fabrics and embroidery techniques is an advantage
