Summary
As a Reliability Maintenance Technician (E&I) you will provide technical expertise to maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment. You will ensure the safe and reliable operation of our production sites while following company policies, procedures and safety systems. Your focus is on high operational standards and maintaining critical equipment efficiently to support ongoing production success.
Main Responsibilities
- Undertake electrical and instrumentation planned maintenance activities as per the organisational maintenance strategy.
- Perform planned maintenance tasks and first-line remedial work identified during tasks.
- Accurately complete all necessary administration associated with planned maintenance and remedial work, including updates to business and work management systems.
- Supervise contractors and external service providers and issue Permits to Work where required.
- Complete routine administration such as timesheets, health and safety forms and vehicle record sheets.
- Contribute and assist with engineering capital works as and when required.
- Assist other members of the Production team with confined space entries (BA training provided).
- Monitor and maintain security of production sites and ensure sites are clean and tidy upon completion of works.
- Drive company vehicles, which may include towing plant and equipment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification to C&G or a relevant electrical/instrumentation technical qualification, preferably through a recognised apprenticeship scheme.
- Fault finding and problem solving skills.
- Experience in maintenance of water‑specific production site assets.
- Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment maintenance practices.
- Flexible and prepared to perform duties and other tasks within capabilities.

Compensation
Up to £45,672 p.a. (dependent on experience).
