Early Learning Support Assistant – Full Time – Newcastle

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Newcastle is seeking a dedicated Early Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children in the early stages of their education and development. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment for pupils across the primary age range.

Early Learning Support Assistant Role:

• Full-time position
• Supporting pupils within the classroom environment
• Assisting with learning activities and child development
• Working closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
• Providing additional support to children who may need extra guidance

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting
• A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
